Jefferson Day had been on Phil's radar, but unfortunately not on Phil's calendar for 2010; and then everything changed. As fate would have it, the Band got the call two days before the event to “fill the void” created by a last minute cancellation. Then Mother Nature moved the event back a day, creating yet another “void to fill” and Band found itself a golden opportunity to shine.
And shine they did! Under a sweltering summer sun, the Band pounded out two full sets of crowd favorites and had a really great time. Jefferson Day was a huge success and there's already talk of a repeat performance for Phil in 2011!
